Wendy Shay drew a massive crowd of more than 80,000 fans to the West Hills Mall over the weekend for the 2025 edition of the Shay Concert, one of the largest gatherings the venue has ever recorded.
The event turned the Weija West Hills Mall enclave into a sea of music lovers, all eager to witness a night headlined by the award-winning singer. She shared the stage with some of Ghana’s biggest performers, including Shatta Wale, Medikal, KiDi, Showboy, Kelvyn Boy, Olivetheboy, Laruso, Sister Afia, Amerado, etc.








Wendy Shay delivered a charged performance powered by her trademark bold stage presence. Her set, filled with hit after hit, featured live collaborations and surprise transitions that kept the audience roaring. Fans erupted when she launched into songs from her newly released album Ready, with the crowd echoing every lyric.




One of the evening’s standout moments came when Shay descended dramatically onto the stage for the second act of her performance, igniting screams across the packed venue. Social media lit up instantly, as attendees shared videos, photos and reactions, pushing the concert into trending territory.
The night wasn’t only about music. Shay rewarded her fans with giveaways, including a 58-inch 4K Hisense television won by one lucky fan.
The 2025 Shay Concert closed with cheers that echoed long after the final note. For many, it cemented another milestone in Ghana’s live-music culture and underscored Wendy Shay’s place as one of the country’s most dominant entertainers.
