In a heartwarming display of community support, the Social Watch Africa’s (SoWA) Students Engagement Initiative paid a visit to the Aburi Presby J.H.S – A on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. The initiative, led by Lead Advocate, Kojo Asiamah Addo, sought to inspire and empower the young students while providing much-needed educational resources.

During the visit, Kojo Addo encouraged the students to make the best of their time in school, urging them to add value to both themselves and society at large. His words resonated deeply with the eager young minds, who listened intently, their eyes shining with hope and determination.
But the initiative’s impact went far beyond mere motivation. SoWA also donated a wealth of educational materials and office supplies to the school, much to the delight and gratitude of both the students and teachers. These vital resources will undoubtedly enhance the learning environment and provide the necessary tools for the students to thrive academically.

“The generosity and commitment shown by SoWA is truly inspiring,” said the school’s headmaster, Mr. Alexander Atta. “These donations will make a significant difference in the lives of our students, empowering them to reach their full potential.”
The Students Engagement Initiative’s visit to Aburi Presby J.H.S – A is a shining example of the transformative power of education and community involvement. By investing in the youth of Ghana, SoWA is not only cultivating the leaders of tomorrow but also creating a brighter, more equitable future for all.
As SoWA seeks to sustain and expand its impactful programs, it is crucial that potential funding opportunities arise to support their noble endeavors. With the right resources, SoWA can continue to inspire and empower more young minds, leaving an indelible mark on the educational landscape of Ghana.
