Black stars winger Christian Atsu has thanked Ghanaians for their undying support for the team during the AFCON tournament in Gabon and has promised the team will come back stronger. Atsu and Daniel Amartey were both named in the CAF Best XI for the just ended 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. Atsu, who plays for Newcastle, was selected as one of the five midfielders after some impressive displays for the Black Stars. At the 2015 Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea, he was the best player of the tournament.
