The Afro Future Festival kicked off its opening night late on Friday, with performances beginning around 10:00 p.m. and building steadily into the early hours of Saturday.
Ghanaian singer Moliy set the tone with an energetic performance, while King Paluta kept the crowd engaged as anticipation grew for the headline act. Fans waited patiently as the night unfolded, with excitement mounting at the packed venue.
The long wait paid off at about 2:30 a.m. when Nigerian star Asake finally took to the stage. Dispensing with any warm-up, he launched straight into a string of hit songs, electrifying the audience and transforming the early-morning hour into a high-energy spectacle.
Asake later sent the crowd into another frenzy by bringing out Ghanaian superstar King Promise, the reigning Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year, for a surprise collaboration.
With day one concluded, attention now shifts to the festival’s second day, where Nigerian singer Rema is set to headline alongside Ghana’s KiDi, promising an even bigger night of performances.
