Former President Nana Akufo-Addo has praised Ghana’s progress in cybersecurity following the launch of a new book documenting the country’s rise as a global model. The book, ““The Republic : A Professional Journey: Ghana’s Cybersecurity and the Making of a Role Model Country” was written by Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, the first Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority.
Akufo-Addo, who launched the book on Nov. 25, said the work highlights Ghana’s transformation into a respected player on the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index. He noted that the publication captures the vision, reforms and sustained effort that secured Ghana international recognition.

He commended Dr. Antwi-Boasiako for producing what he described as a valuable national record and an inspiration for future public servants.
