President Nana Akufo Addo has named the Greater Accra regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Ishmael Ashitey as the minister designate of the Greater Accra region.
Simon Osei Mensah, former Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe constituency in the Ashanti region has also been named as the substantive minister for that region.
The president, Nana Akufo Addo charged all the nominees – if they are approved by the House of Parliament, to deliver on the promise of the New Patriotic Party in the various regions.
