The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has proposed the establishment of an Education Emergency Response Fund. The fund, it said, should support large-scale teacher recruitment, equitable deployment and professional development. The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has cautioned that Ghana could face a generational education catastrophe if urgent steps are not taken to address mounting teacher shortages. A student of Obrachire Senior High and Technical School has lost his life after being assaulted by fellow students during the District Schools Athletics Games.
