S&P Global Ratings has raised Ghana’s long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings from ‘CCC+/C’ to ‘B-/B’ due to a ‘stable’ outlook. The global rating agency also revised the transfer and convertibility assessment on the country from ‘CCC+’ to ‘B-‘.
