Highlife musician Okuraseni Samuel has alleged that the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) contributed GH¢400 as its donation (Nsaabodee) at the funeral of late fellow musician Kofi Boakye Yiadom, popularly known in showbiz as Kofi B. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it has lined up a number of funeral activities to celebrate founder Jerry John Rawlings. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of the 2020 West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). “This follows the completion of all post-examination processes,” WAEC said in a statement on Friday, November 13. “The results of the candidates will be dispatched to their schools.” Candidates have, therefore, been advised to contact their heads of school for their results. Ghana’s coronavirus cases have risen sharply in the last couple of weeks with many blaming the situation on heightened political activities. There are worries that the county may be plunged into a second wave of the virus. On Friday, November 13, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) put the total number of cumulative cases at 50,018.
