The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of the 2020 West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). “This follows the completion of all post-examination processes,” WAEC said in a statement on Friday, November 13. “The results of the candidates will be dispatched to their schools.” Candidates have, therefore, been advised to contact their heads of school for their results. Ghana’s coronavirus cases have risen sharply in the last couple of weeks with many blaming the situation on heightened political activities. There are worries that the county may be plunged into a second wave of the virus. On Friday, November 13, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) put the total number of cumulative cases at 50,018.
