The police have arrested two of the seven inmates, who escaped from the Kwabenya Police Station on Sunday after a raid by some armed men. Attah Kwadwo, 20, and Prince Osei, 27, were arrested at Worawora in the Volta Region on Tuesday. Two of the men who stormed the police station to aid the escape of the seven persons have also been arrested. They were arrested on Tuesday. The government of Anambra, a state in south eastern Nigeria, has banned the drinking of raw garri, which it says can lead to Lassa fever. The disease is transmitted to humans via food and objects contaminated with rodent urine or faeces, according to the World Health Organisation.
