As the rainy season approaches, the Ghana Water Ltd (GWL) has issued a critical warning to residents living downstream of the Weija Dam regarding the commencement of water spillage from the dam. The current water level of the dam stands at 45ft, which is only 2ft below the maximum safe operating level of 47ft.
