Police in the Tema Region have foiled an attempted robbery at Community 24 in Ashaiman, resulting in the deaths of three suspected robbers following a gun battle with officers, authorities said. Police in Ghana’s Bono Region have arrested 54 suspects in a series of intelligence-led swoop operations targeting illegal drug activity and robbery hideouts, authorities said in a statement. (GRIDCo) has announced ongoing works to connect a newly constructed power generation plant at Anwomaso, Kumasi, to the national electricity grid, a move expected to improve power supply reliability in Kumasi and surrounding communities.
