Co-chair of Citizens Movement against Corruption (CMaC), Edem Senanu is asking government to immediately prosecute four former government appointees who allegedly colluded, collected and shared 4 million dollars belonging to the National Communications Authority. Five forest and wildlife reserves, which serves as tourist attraction centers in the Sefwi Wiawso area in Western Region, continue to be under threat due to illegal farming, chainsaw operations among others. The threat persist despite the joint military and police timber monitoring team formed to curtail the menace. Chairman of the Hajj Board Sheikh I.C Quaye has revealed that six flights will take off from the Tamale International Airport at the 2017 Hajj Pilgrimage while a total of 6,200 pilgrims will be allowed to perform the 2017 Hajj. Some Ga youth ostensibly from the Gbawe Mantse Palace in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region last night stormed the Winners Chapel International branch at Gbawe during the evening church service and destroyed their equipment.
