The Ghana Youth Climate Coalition with the support of US Embassy, Ghana has launched a community sanitation project to improve sanitary condition in communities within the Ashanti Region. The project is to complement government’s efforts towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goal 6 on sanitation by 2030 of ensuring sustainable management of sanitation for all. Ghana failed to meet its Millennium Development Goal target on Sanitation as at the end of 2015.
