North Korea will continue to test missiles, a senior official has told the BBC in Pyongyang, despite international condemnation and growing military tensions with the US. “We’ll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis,” Vice-Foreign Minister Han Song-ryol told the BBC’s John Sudworth. The proliferation of vigilante groups in Africa and Ghana in particular has been attributed by many scholars to the failure of the security services to guarantee safety. Dealers of motorbikes in Ghana are to petition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over what they consider to be unwarranted arrest of motorbikes by the Ghana Police, which they say, is affecting their businesses.
