Two South African nationals working aboard a cruise ship quarantined at sea have contracted coronavirus, according to the country’s health ministry. It quoted Japanese officials as saying the two patients were not outwardly displaying symptoms of the virus but were being treated in Japan. Twenty cases of unsafe abortion were reported in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region in 2019 says the Municipal Health Directorate. The cases were reported at Chiraa, Fiapre, Odumase and Nsoatre among girls between 12 and 18 years, but no death was recorded. AngloGold Ashanti is cautioning the public against fraudsters who have been using the name of people related to the company to extort monies from job seekers. A statement issued Friday said some fraudsters “write to unsuspecting job seekers either on a fraudulently designed AngloGold Ashanti letterhead or the letterhead of other intermediary organisations” to offer them jobs.
