The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has launched the 2020 edition of Ghana’s Fastest Human, an annual sprint competition aimed at unearthing talents to represent the country at the Olympic Games. This year’s event will start on February 29 at the Tamale Sports Stadium while the grand finale is scheduled to take place on June 20 at the Paa Joe Stadium at the KNUST campus in Kumasi. Roger Stone, long-time adviser and ally to President Donald Trump, has been sentenced to 40 months in jail. Stone, 67, was found guilty in November on seven counts of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering. He is the sixth Trump aide convicted in a criminal case resulting from Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
