Government has made a total payment of USD1.003bn to clear the outstanding debts it owed the Bulk Distribution Companies. The payments were finalised on 13th January 2020, the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) announced in a statement on Monday. The police in the Ashanti region have arrested two people in connection with the murder of Ruth Ama Eshun on February 3, 2020. The 37-year-old nurse met her untimely death on her way home from work at a town called Ayuom in the Bosomtwi District in the Ashanti Region. She was working at the Sewua Health Center.
