The Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service has turned a section of aggrieved customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited away after they sought permit to stage a procession to the presidency. The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold Ghana wrote to the Command on Thursday, February 6 for permission to march to the presidency on Tuesday, February 11 to present a petition to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The Special Prosecutor has commenced investigations into the allegations of bribery against Ghanaian public officials in the controversial Airbus SE deal, stating there is reasonable suspicion of corruption. European aviation giant, Airbus is alleged to have paid millions of dollars in bribes to some Ghana government officials in the sale of three military aircraft to Ghana in 2011 and 2015. The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan has inaugurated a shea butter facility and warehouse for the Tiyumtaba Women’s Cooperative at Sorogu in the Sagnarigu Municipality of the Northern Region.
