The Agricultural Development Bank (adb) has announce it will from the next 30 days begin publishing the names and pictures of all persons who have defaulted in paying back loans they took from the bank. Ghana has mounted health surveillance to check protect people in the country from contracting a new virus outbreak that has killed nine people in China. Health authorities say travellers coming into Ghana from China will be subjected to “enhanced screening” and issued with health questionnaire to be filled as part of measures put in place to protect the Ghanaian public. At least 15 people died after a boat capsized in a lake in western Democratic Republic of Congo, the AFP news agency reports, quoting a local mayor. More people are missing from the Monday accident in Lake Mai-Ndombe, the Mayor of Inongo Cosmos Mboo Wemba is quoted as saying. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
