A book of condolence has been opened to all Ghanaians as they mourn the death of longest-serving First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
Mrs Rawlings, who served as First Lady between 1981 and 2001, died on Thursday, October 23 after a short illness.
Her family informed the Presidency about the sad incident immediately it happened.
Since the announcement of the death of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, many statesmen including government officials and politicians have trooped to her residence to commiserate with her family, especially the four surviving children.
Leading the delegation of mourners is former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who was joined by the Chief of Staff during his presidency, Akosua Frema Osei Opare, and some ministers who served under him.
The family has consequently opened a book of condolence to honour their daughter.
A three-day national mourning has already been declared by President John Dramani Mahama in tribute to the deceased former First Lady.
