Domestication still on course – GCPP’s Henry Lartey

The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) intends to prioritise agriculture and solar energy to generate more revenue for the country and create jobs.

Flagbearer Henry Herbert Lartey explains that the decision forms part of the domestication policy championed by GCPP to make Ghana self-sufficient.

“The domestication philosophy is the best policy in Ghana and Africa. As a country, we have political independence but need economic independence as well to be self-reliant. This can be achieved when we major in production rather than importing almost everything including food.

“We are speaking to a company that is prepared to partner Ghana to tap into solar energy and produce electrical cars. More jobs will be created and the youth will smile to the banks.”

The GCPP Presidential Candidate made his campaign message clear on Thursday, November 19 when he paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace to share the vision of the party to Otumfuo and seek his blessing for a successful contest.

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, commended GCPP for its resolve to prioritize and invest in the agriculture sector.

“If Ghana will be self-reliant, it will depend on the agriculture sector. It will bring more money and create more jobs. It’s sad the youth have left farming job to the aged and are chasing white collar jobs. I’m happy the GCPP is poised to invest in the agric sector. I’ll urge Henry Lartey to be focused on his agenda and sell his message to Ghanaians.”

The Asantehene implored politicians to embark on issues-based campaign devoid of violence.

The Great Consolidated Popular Party is hoping to win the heart of Ghanaians with its domestication policy .
