Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders have confirmed the resignation of Head Coach Nii Odartey Lamptey.
The former U-17 star had tendered in his resignation following a poor run in the 2025/26 season.
The club is yet to win a game this season, going 3-2 down to 10-man Nations FC on Matchday 7.
It was after the match at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese that Nii Odartey Lamptey stepped down.
“Eleven Wonders can confirm that Mr Nii Odartey Lamptey has tendered his resignation as Head Coach of the club, which has been accepted with immediate effect,” a statement on Thursday confirmed.
It expressed gratitude to the former Black Stars player for his “dedication, passion and contribution to the club during his tenure”.
“We wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
The club says it has initiated the search for a new coach to lead the team in the GPL.
In the interim, the current technical team is expected to assume responsibility for all duties to ensure “continuity” and “focus”.
Eleven Wonders are currently second from the bottom with 2 points.
