Ghana emerged as a standout destination at the 2026 New York Travel and Adventure Show, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The annual event, which ran from 24–25 January, showcased over 550 exhibitors, including top destinations, tour operators, cruise lines, and travel providers from around the world.
The Black Star Experience, Ghana’s official tourism showcase, captured the Best in Show – International award, drawing attention for its vibrant cultural displays, interactive exhibits, and engaging presentations. Attendees were offered a glimpse into Ghana’s rich heritage, music, cuisine, and scenic attractions, with opportunities to meet tourism experts and participate in live cultural demonstrations.
The show also featured over 60 travel seminars with renowned experts such as Samantha Brown and Andrew McCarthy, along with exclusive deals and giveaways. Ghana’s recognition at the event highlights the country’s growing appeal as a premier travel destination and its commitment to promoting tourism on the global stage.
