A family funeral is scheduled to be held for former Minister of Defence Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah on Saturday, December 13.
A funeral poster sighted by NewsfileGH announces that the funeral will be held at the Jackson Park in Koforidua.
It will start from 12:00 to 6:00pm.
There will be a Thanksgiving Service at the St. George’s Catholic Cathedral in Koforidua on Sunday, December 14 before a final funeral rite back at the Jackson Park same day.
Dr Omane Boamah was part of eight citizens onboard the Z-9 Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) helicopter that crashed at Sikaman near Obuasi-Akrofuom on Wednesday, August 6.
Their remains were buried on Friday, August 15 after a state funeral at the forecourt Black Stars Square.
The report of the investigations into the crash attributed the accident to poor weather conditions.
