The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has urged Ghanaians to ignore reports that Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan has left camp.
Reports on social media on Monday, January 16 suggested that the Al Ahli striker left camp as a result of a dispute with a Deputy Captain, Andre Dede Ayew.
But on its official Twitter page, the sport governing body of the country said the reports are completely false.

This is the second time in two days that the GFA has to parry false news after reports emerged over the weekend that the team had rejected its hotel of camping and training pitch.
It is unclear the motive behind persons spreading “false” news about the team.
The four-time winners are yet to taste action at the Africa Cup of Nations. They play Uganda on Tuesday in Group D’s opening game.
