The Black Queens will play Cameroon, Mali and Cape Verde in Group D of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be held in Morocco.
The draw for the tournament was held in Rabat on Thursday, January 15.
Ghana won Bronze at the last edition, also held in Morocco, and will be seeking to go a step further.
Head Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren and captain Portia Boakye were in Morocco to witness the draw.
The tournament begins from Tuesday, March 17 to Friday, April 3.
The semi-finalists will qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be held in Brazil.

Group A: 1. Morocco 2. Algeria 3. Senegal 4. Kenya
Group B: 1. South Africa 2. Cote d’Ivoire 3. Burkina Faso 4. Tanzania
Group C: 1. Nigeria 2. Zambia 3. Egypt 4. Malawi
