Ghana will parade an entirely locally-based squad for the friendly against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
Head Coach of the Black Galaxies Kassim Mingle Ocansey released a 20-man squad for Tuesday’s encounter in Gauteng.
Conspicuously missing from the squad is Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who has been a key member of the Black Stars proper.
In post will be either Heart of Lions’ shot stopper Lawrence Osei or Medeama SC’s Felix Kyei, who until recently was also a member of the main Black Stars team.
Among the defenders are Razak Simpson, Isaac Afful and Kamaradini Mamudu, who have had spells with the main team.
Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu, who was recently part of the Black Stars team that played in the Kirin Cup, will lead the midfield with Etse Dogli of Heart of Lions and Salim Adams also called up.
Swedru All Blacks goal poacher Rudolf Nana Mensah Jr. is among the attackers for the friendly game.
