Firefighters in the Anloga District say they swiftly contained a commercial-room fire at the Reddington Beach Hotel on Dec. 4 after receiving a distress call at the Anloga Fire Station.
Officials said a crew led by Station Officer II Lumor Tobias arrived to find “Chalet-One,” one of the hotel’s units, already engulfed in flames. Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service prevented the fire from spreading to other rooms and nearby properties.

The blaze was brought under control and fully extinguished, the service said in a statement filed by the Volta Region Public Relations Office. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
