A late strike by Emmanuel Annor saved the blushes of Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso and Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as they earned a point against Hohoe United.
It was the first game in front of home fans for defending Ghana Premier League (GPL) coach, who clinched the club’s first away draw in his first game in charge.
However, a 23rd minute strike by Ati Sena in the early Matchday 9 game sparked the jitters for both Nations FC and their fans.
They dominated play but could not break the debutants, who are yet to win away.
However, Annor, who has the enviable record of the first and only hat trick in the 2025/26 GPL, found the equaliser in the 86th minute.
The one point apiece sees the two clubs on same points – 10 – after their Matchday 9 clash.
They both travel away in their next games. While Nations FC will play at Berekum Chelsea, Hohoe United will face Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf.
