The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, has launched a scathing attack on the deal between Strategic Mobilization Limited (SML) Ghana and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
He said the payments made to SML Ghana were not valid as there was no proper contract signed between the two parties.
He has, therefore, assured that six persons including former Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta involved in the fishy deal will be charged for corruption and corruption-related offences before the end of November.
Mr Agyebeng stressed that this is aimed at recovering around GH¢125 million from the individuals for the state.
The Special Prosecutor made this known on Thursday in a press conference in Accra.
He met the press following the conclusion of investigations into the contract between SML and GRA.
