Kenpong Travel and Tours is set to officially unveil its much-anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup travel packages at a high-profile launch event in Accra on Friday, February 20 at 10:00am.

The ceremony, to be held at the Kenpong Travel and Tours office adjacent to the Canada Visa Application Centre in Dzorwulu, is expected to attract key stakeholders from Ghana’s sports and tourism sectors.

Minister for Sports and Recreation Kofi Adams will grace the occasion as special guest, underscoring the growing synergy between sports development and private-sector travel facilitation ahead of the global showpiece.

The event will be chaired by the Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, while Ernest Henry Norgbey, MP for Ashaiman and a member of Parliament’s Select Committee on Sports, is also expected to be in attendance.

Friday’s launch, according to officials of Kenpong Travel and Tours, will formally introduce a range of curated travel packages designed to give Ghanaian football fans seamless access to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The packages are expected to cover visa assistance, flight arrangements, accommodation, match ticket guidance and on-ground logistics, positioning Kenpong Travel and Tours as a one-stop solution for supporters eager to experience the tournament live.

With anticipation already building globally for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Kenpong Travel and Tours says the launch signals its intent to offer structured, secure and competitively priced travel options to allow Ghanaian football fans to savour football’s highest competition.

Industry watchers say the initiative reflects growing confidence among Ghanaian travel operators in delivering premium international sports tourism experiences, especially for major global tournaments.

Organisers indicate that the launch will also provide an opportunity for sports enthusiasts, corporate bodies and the media to interact with officials and gain firsthand insight into the packages on offer.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted across three nations – USA, Canada and Mexico – is expected to draw millions of fans from across the globe, and Kenpong Travel and Tours says it is determined to ensure that Ghanaian supporters are not left behind.

The Black Stars of Ghana, with a rich and exciting history of participating in four World Cup finals already – 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022 – will be hoping to further impress the world and reinforce its pedigree as a competitive football nation with the 2026 appearance, the fifth in the series.
