President John Dramani Mahama has paid a courtesy call on former President John Agyekum Kufuor and his family.
According to a post on X on Tuesday, December 30, President Mahama said he just visited the octagenarian former President to extend his best wishes of the season.
“I paid a visit to President John Kufuor today to extend to him and his family the best wishes of the season,” wrote President Mahama.
The visit is seen as a significant gesture in rekindling the relationship between the two leaders.
President Mahama was a Member of Parliament in the eight-year tenure of Mr Kufuor, who reigned from 2001 to 2009.
