The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set Saturday, December 19, 2026 as date to elect national executives for the party for the next four years.
This will be the culmination of activities, starting from Friday, January 30, to reorganise the party from the branch level.
From Friday, January 30 to Tuesday, February 10, registers and books will be made available at branch levels for interested members to join the party.
These were disclosed by the General Secretary, Franklyn Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, at the party’s headquarters on Thursday, January 29.
It was a press conference Mr Fifi Kwetey addressed.
“This reorganisation process demands discipline, integrity, fairness and collective responsibility,” he stressed.
The former Minister of Food and Agriculture said after registration of members and authentication of the register by end of April, the party will then open nominations for branch positions from Saturday, May 2 to Saturday, May 16.
By the end of July, he added, branch executives would have been elected and then the ball is set to roll in the constituencies.
October and November will be dedicated to constituency and regional executive elections respectively before the national executive elections on Saturday, December 19.
