NPP Bigwigs ‘Brain Dead’ Over Ken & Abronye Brawl Party Chief Slams ‘No Sense’ Leaders For Letting War Of Words Explode

A furious New Patriotic Party (NPP) chief has sensationally branded his own colleagues “brainless” after they failed to stop a vicious public feud that rocked the party’s ‘thank you’ tour! Dankwa Smith Butey, the NPP’s first vice chairman, has unleashed a stinging attack on top party brass, including former presidential hopeful Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, for their “common sense” failure to muzzle the warring factions of Ken Agyapong and Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC).

The explosive bust-up, which saw Agyapong’s supporters stabbed in a shocking act of violence, has left the party reeling and sparked calls for a full-scale inquiry. Butey, in a blistering radio interview, raged that the party’s leaders “should have known” to intervene the moment the venomous verbal attacks began.

“Things are bad!” he roared, “They were all there! Bawumia, the chairman, the general secretary, the organizer – the whole lot! They should have pulled those two aside and told them to shut their traps!”

The brutal brawl, which erupted during the NPP’s ‘thank you’ tour in the Bono Region, saw Agyapong and Abronye DC trade insults like street fighters, leaving party faithful stunned and appalled. Butey, who was not present at the tour, accused the party’s chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, general secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, and national organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, of abject incompetence. “It’s common sense!” he thundered, “I shouldn’t have to tell them!

They should have known to stop it! Now, a good thing has turned into a bloody mess!”

Butey also turned his fire on Dr Bawumia, accusing him of driving a wedge between himself and former President Akufo-Addo with a series of explosive remarks during the tour.

Bawumia’s scathing criticism of the previous administration’s policies, including the abandoned National Cathedral project, has sparked outrage within the party. “He’s the number two!” Butey fumed, “If he’s got issues, he should talk to Nana Addo in private, not air their dirty laundry in public!”

The NPP boss sensationally claimed that Bawumia’s comments had “absolutely” damaged his relationship with Akufo-Addo. “That tour has brought division!” he declared, “I haven’t spoken to Nana Addo, but I know it’s caused a rift! He should have gone to Nana Addo’s house and sorted it out like men!”

The shocking revelations have plunged the NPP into turmoil, with party insiders fearing a full-blown civil war. The brutal brawl and Bawumia’s explosive comments have left the party’s reputation in tatters, and Butey’s scathing attack has exposed the deep divisions that threaten to tear the NPP apart.
