Black Queens coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren says his game plan is to upset the Lionesses on Tuesday when they face off in an international friendly at the St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.
The European champions on Saturday, November 30 thrashed China 8-0 in an earlier friendly match.
The Ghana coach observed that the Asians were afraid to lose to the Lionesses and that cost them in their friendly game last Saturday.
The loss equals the Steel Roses’ heaviest defeat at the highest level.
At the pre-match press conference on Monday, December 1, Kim Lars Bjorkegren said Ghana’s approach to the game will be different as that lacked for the Chinese.
“How they approached the game, I think they did some mistakes.
“They were afraid to lose with big numbers. If you are afraid to play against England you are going to be destroyed and that was exactly what happened.”
He added that his charges will have a game plan of beating the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup losing finalists.
“We are attacking the game like I said and our game plan is to win it. If it’s possible we are not, if it’s realistic I don’t know and I don’t care to be honest.”
