Nigerian music star Peter Okoye of PSquare fame has promised fans a full catalogue performance when he takes the stage at Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival, saying he has no reservations about revisiting his classic hits.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the event, Peter said he would perform “everything” he has been part of and created, stressing that he remains proud of his musical legacy. Asked whether fans should expect his older songs, he replied emphatically that nothing was off the table.
Peter said his appearance at the festival was driven by a personal invitation from Stonebwoy, who is marking the 10th anniversary of the BHIM Festival. According to him, the decision to perform was immediate once dates were aligned, despite a packed December schedule.
He explained that he deliberately set aside time to travel to Ghana, describing it as a place where he could relax away from constant work calls in Nigeria. “Once I’m in Ghana, I know I’m in Ghana,” he said, noting that he intended to rest and enjoy the atmosphere ahead of rehearsals.
Peter revealed plans to rehearse with Stonebwoy’s band and said he was looking forward to sharing the stage in what he described as an upgraded performance experience. Recalling his last appearance in Ghana as “fireworks”, he promised fans that this time would be “bazooka”.
