Police have arrested a woman captured in a viral video physically assaulting a man, according to officials from the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team.
The suspect, Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa, was picked up at Subriso in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency on Wednesday. A second suspect, Stephen Ofori, was also arrested at Nkawie for his role in the incident.
Both are in police custody as efforts continue to track down three additional suspects who remain at large.
Police say investigations are ongoing and reaffirm their commitment to ensuring all perpetrators face justice.
