The investigative report on the August 6 helicopter crash that left eight persons including two ministers of state dead is expected to be made public on Tuesday, November 11.
Before then, the report will be presented to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on his personal Facebook page on Sunday.
On Monday, October 27, the First Deputy Minority Whip, Habib Iddrisu, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tolon, had filed a Right to Information (RTI) request for the investigative report after the 30-day tenure given by the President elapsed.
The accident, which occurred near Adansi-Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region, left the nation in a devastating mood after the death of all eight aboard.
They were Minister of Defence Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, and a Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Samuel Sarpong.
The rest are 2024 NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Obuasi East Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi, Flying Officer Manaen Twum-Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
