Several workers have been injured with some in critical condition after a storey building under construction at Roman Ridge collapsed.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon.
According to eye witnesses, about 14 workers were on site when it occurred.
The workers were trapped under the rubble for hours before officers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) arrived to rescue them all.
They were sent to the 37 Military and Greater Accra Regional hospitals for medical care.
The Fire Service has since launched investigations into the incident as work has been suspended by construction firm Fabrico Builders.
The cause of the incident is not immediately known but the eye witnesses claim the workers were casting concrete on the first floor when it caved in.
