Leader in digital print products and solutions in Ghana, Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, has launched onto the Ghanaian market, the latest generation of printing equipment and document management solutions to enhance productivity and boost the printing industry in the country.

The groundbreaking AccurioPress C3070/3080 and Bizhub C258 were unveiled in Accra Tuesday at a two-day digital printing solutions expo in Accra where the capabilities of the two machines are being displayed to industry players.

Skysat also unveiled the latest document management solutions which come with a combination of hardware, software and IT solutions for companies and businesses requiring management of their documents.

Manufactured by Konica Minolta, the AccurioPress color series press printer is packed with advanced features to help businesses expand into new markets and at the same time develop new revenue streams.

Executive Director of Skysat Technologies, Ramzi Deb, said the products boast of an array of finishing options such as full bleed, saddle-stitched books and bound books. It also does punching, stapling and stacking of printed documents. The products’ auto-duplex banner printing option, he noted, allows for the production of six-page tri-folds, brochures, book jackets, pocket folders among other unmatched features, the dealers said.

Skysat is promising great deals for businesses, corporate organizations and individuals who require variety of printing solutions to expand and enhance their businesses.

“We have special prices during the exhibition for whoever books these machines,” Mr assured customers and urged them to show up at the expo taking place at the Holiday Inn in Accra.

He said the products are fully packed with features that would be a perfect choice for commercial franchise printers and in-house marketing departments of companies among others.

“Our range of clients is very big; from the small office, home office, printer all the way to very large commercial printers. We service banks, insurance companies, corporate organisations, printers in New Town… Every kind of client with printing needs if he comes to the exhibition he will find what he’s looking for,

The Chief Executive said Skysat does not only supply original printers and their accessories but also offer leasing services to companies that do not intend to buy the products

“We are actually offering leasing to select customers. We have several customers who have this contract with us… If a customer qualifies, of course we will offer,” he said, adding “it is very affordable”.

He added: “Our IT experts consult with our clients to offer solutions including printing management and cost control, archiving, document security and enhanced document management”.

Chief Executive of Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS) Limited, Archie Hesse, who was the guest speaker lauded Skysat Technologies for the partnership with Konica that has ensured the introduction of digital products into the printing industry.

[R-L]Paul Tihn, Business Support Manager of Konica Business Solutions Europe GmBh, Mr. Hesse, Mr. Deb and Elias Semrani, GM of Skysat Ghana Limited.
“One of the problems or the issues we have when it comes to the printing is the cost so when you have quality companies like Skysat that has partnered Konica to come to Ghana to offer leasing options I think it is something that we must embrace,” he said, adding “It helps us to transition towards the digital era”.

He added: “There is this concept of acquiring things when it comes to printing in Ghana where we all buy printers and I think when it comes to the printing industry worldwide, leasing and service usage is the order of the day so it is important to have a system that will help us to transition into that”.

He underscored the need for companies to change the system of having printers at every desk and in every office to one where there is one robust centralized smart printer like the AccurioPress color series press printers to reduce cost.
