
The Black Stars failed to leave their Port-Gentil base Thursday evening for Gabon’s northern city of Oyem, where they will play DR Congo in the third quarter final game of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The flight was cancelled due to “delays”, the Ghana Football Association tweeted later in the day.

The team is likely to travel on Friday.
The Stars returned to training Thursday morning after losing for the first time in the 31st edition of the Cup of Nations.
Ghana lost 0-1 to Egypt in the final Group D game at Port-Gentil on Wednesday, January 25.
The result saw Ghana lose their first position in the group to Egypt, who stay at Port-Gentil for their clash with Morocco.

Ghana will be welcomed to the 20,000-capacity Stade d’Oyem by the Leopards, who are yet to lose in the tourney.
They won Group C after beating Morocco 1-0, drawing 2-2 with Ivory Coast and beating Togo 3-1.
The winner of Sunday’s first quarter-final game will play the winner of the Senegal-Cameroon clash in the semi-finals.
