December 12, 2025 – Sunyani Senior High School has been crowned the winner of the 2025 National Public Speaking Competition, held under the theme, “Sexual and Reproductive Health of the Adolescent Child.”
The event, hosted at the Parliament of Ghana, brought together students from six senior high schools, including Accra-Academy Senior High, Osei-Tutu Senior High, Swedru Senior High, Bechem Senior High, and Awaso Stem Senior High.
Contestants delivered speeches guided by the theme, highlighting issues surrounding adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Judges praised the finalists for their clarity, confident delivery, and deep understanding of the topics.

Organizers noted that the competition reflected careful preparation by all participating schools and demonstrated a growing interest in public speaking among students. The event also provided a platform for young people to engage critically on matters affecting adolescent health, encouraging dialogue and awareness across communities.
