The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has successfully evacuated three Ghanaian traders who were injured in Saturday’s terrorist attack in Titao, Burkina Faso.
The mission was conducted on Tuesday, February 17 via a Ghana Air Force flight.
“The evacuation forms part of the government’s coordinated humanitarian and security efforts,” a press release on Wednesday, February 18 explained.
The injured have since been admitted to the 37 Military Hospital “for further medical assessment and treatment”.
GAF extended condolences to the bereaved families of the victims of the deadly attack, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
