National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Freddie Blay has asked Ghanaians to once again vote massively for the governing party to enable it continue the good works being implemented.
He said the government has over the past three-and-a-half years in office embarked on several development projects to grow the country.
To that end, the mandate of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should be renewed in this year’s elections, he said.
Speaking during the unveiling of the 2020 manifesto of the NPP in Cape Coast on Saturday, August 22, Mr Blay said: “We have tackled the economy, advanced good governance and developed our country for all of us.
“We are therefore asking people in this country that come December 7 based on what we said we will offer, take us seriously under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo , vote for us again and we will deliver.”
For his part, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),John Boadu, asked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to feel free to copy the content of the manifesto of the governing party ahead of this year’s elections.
Mr Boadu, who was also speaking at the event, said the NDC were waiting for the NPP to launch their document to enable them copy the ideas in it for theirs.
He said: “We have launched our manifesto today. They are waiting for us to launch our manifesto so they can copy, they are free to copy.”
