A lot of fans have trooped to TV3’s premises to support their favourite contestants in the final of the most prestigious beauty pageant in Ghana, Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB).
The supporters of the various contestants are excited and overwhelmed about the event and are waiting to cheer the ladies on to victory.
A few of them in separate interviews claimed they are in suspense and no matter what the results may be, they are proud their ladies got to the final.
“I’m expecting extraordinary [performances] from the contestants. I’ve been following GMB from 2007 and didn’t want Covid-19 to be a standing block for missing GMB 2020 Finale. I don’t have a favourite [but] definitely one person have to win the crown but tonight they are all winners,” a fan said
“May the best win, I pray and I want Zuzu to win; she is brave, she is talented. I’m not related to her in anyway, I just want her to win because if you check her previous weeks, she has been very consistent throughout the 12 weeks; she is very good and I think she deserves to win. I really hope to see KiDi perform his tracks, ‘Enjoyment’ and ‘Say Cheese’,” another said.
“I’m not expecting anything better than a fair judgment but actually I’m here to support Talata because over the weeks she has performed better and she has built up her confidence and her ability to win the crown week after week; the other ladies are not doing badly at all. I’m expecting the ladies to give us their best performance, entertain us and depict what GMB stands for this evening. I hope to see pray3 give us some good music.”
As a result of the strict Covid-19 measures adopted by the organisers, a large screen has been mounted at the forecourt of TV3 for the teeming fans who don’t get space at Studio B.
Another viewing place has also been set up at the Executive Theatre.
