Dancehall artiste Samini brought the Dansoman High Street to life Saturday night when he hosted his annual Saminifest concert.
Dansoman is the home of the dancehall artiste who grew up in the area and has since spent most of his time living there, hence the decision to take the concert ‘home’ this year.
Prior to the main concert on Saturday, December 21, there were a number of activities led by Samini in the area including a clean-up exercise, donation to an orphanage, and a tour of some Senior High Schools within the Dansoman enclave.
Samini, together with other artistes thrilled and entertained patrons for hours with back to back hit songs at the concert.

There were performances from the likes of KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Nii Lante, Rocky Dawuni, Kelvyn Boy and some underground artistes who turned up to support Samini.

Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful graced the occasion to support the dancehall artiste.

Samini crowned the night with a spectacular live band performance, treating patrons to old and new hits.
