A new poll conducted by Global Info Analytics ahead of the Kpandai parliamentary re-run indicates a closely contested race between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to the survey, NPP candidate Mathew Nyindam leads with 50% of voter support, while NDC’s Daniel Wakpal follows closely with 46%. An additional 1% of respondents support another candidate, and 3% remain undecided.
With a reported margin of error of 3.9%, analysts note that the contest is statistically tied, leaving the outcome highly uncertain. The results underscore the potential influence of undecided voters, who could sway the final outcome in this pivotal constituency.
Political observers suggest both parties will intensify campaign efforts in the remaining days leading to the re-run to secure a decisive victory.
