A Research Assistant in Parliament, Eric Obuoba, has declared his intention to contest for a position as a National Executive Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Obuaba said his decision to seek a national executive position is informed by his desire to contribute to the growth and development of the party while bringing his experience and knowledge to bear on its organisational affairs.
According to him, his work in Parliament has provided him with valuable experience in research, policy and legislative processes, which he hopes to leverage in serving the NDC at the national level.
He is expected to engage party members and stakeholders as he seeks support for his bid.
Mr Obuaba’s declaration comes as the NDC prepares for its internal elections, with several party members expressing interest in various national executive positions. His campaign is expected to focus on his experience, commitment to the party and his vision for contributing to its continued development.
