Rick Ross’ arrival in Ghana and the subsequent show of tenacity by young talented Ghanaian rapper CJ Biggerman, who took a gamble and won, took social media by storm head of the 2019 Detty Rave.
As Rick Ross and CJ Biggerman trended number one on Twitter, a lot was really expected of the event this year and yes it really lived up to expectation.
This year’s Detty Rave concert, spearheaded by Nigerian musician Mr Eazi, which took place on Friday, December 27, witnessed mind-blowing performances from artistes billed for the event.
The concert venue, on the Spintex Road, which was built just in time for the concert, was filled to capacity. It was filled with both local and foreign nationals who had trooped to Ghana as the country climaxes the Year of Return activities.
The concert witnessed back to back performances from Sarkodie, Kidi, Joey B, La Meme Gang, King Promise, Kwesi Arthur, and Mr Eazi.
After grabbing the headlines prior to the event, American rapper Rick Ross fulfilled his promise of bringing CJ Biggerman onto the stage.
The young rapper, after his idol Rick Ross had thrilled the patrons to some of his smash hits, also did not disappoint. He performed as if his life depended on it.
